About Evan

Evan Rosenbaum, 20, is Founder & President of EKR which turns books into communities. With EKR books stay relevant which allows authors to earn recurring revenue. EKR is developing revolutionary publishing tools to easily create books which work on all major platforms and screen sizes. EKR is in the Wharton Venture Initiation Program which is an educational incubator. Evan was named one of the Smartest People in Philadelphia by Philadelphia Magazine.


Evan is a junior at the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania where he is pursuing a B.S. in Economics with a concentration in Management with a specialization in Entrepreneurship & Innovation and a joint concentration in Marketing & Operations Management. He is Student CTO of the Wharton Future of Advertising Program, SEI Center for Advanced Studies of Management. Evan is a Wharton Leadership Ventures Advisory Board member where he has been student venture coordinator for an expedition to Red Rocks, Utah hiking and canyoneering. He developed a new email marketing system for WLV which produces more engaging and vibrant communications. He is President of the Wharton Undergraduate Entrepreneurship Club.


At age 14, Evan founded iGiki, which released the world’s first 3rd party iPhone web applications before the iPhone was even released. His iGiki games were featured in PC World, Chicago Tribune, Wired, Newsday, and Mac|Life. Evan also released the first iPhone finger stylus.

I’ve also worked for Prime Visibility, an internet marketing and search engine optimization firm, where I promoted clients ranging from family-owned businesses to Nielsen Business Media on the interactive and social medias.
